Co-founder and co-director

Happenstance is community arts festival that was first held on the Merri Creek in Melbourne in 2017, and again in 2018. Co-founded and directed by Will Dawson, Adelaide Fisher and myself, the festival was generously supported by the Friends of Merri Creek and Moreland City Council

During the event the public were invited to take an unexpected journey along a well-trodden path, and discover a trail of music, art, and performance celebrating the Merri Creek. Happenstance encouraged participants to engage with the beautiful natural environment of the Merri Creek, bringing together local communities and highlighting the importance of sustainable practices in urban environments.

I respectfully acknowledge the people of the Bundjalung nation, traditional custodians of the land on which I live and work, and pay my respect to Elders, both past and present, their culture and continued connection to land, water and community.
